Exultation and Simplicity

Exultation and Simplicity.

The churchlife has yet another characteristic: that is they ?partook of their food with exultation and simplicity of heart? (Acts 2:46). Partaking of food is a big element in the churchlife. The churchlife can never depart from this most elemental thing in life and living: eating together. You need to eat everyday; if you don't eat, you cannot survive, not to mention you won?t be able to live with exultation and simplicity of heart. This sentence has a very deep meaning. Partaking of food is the most critical in our survival. Unfortunately, very few people have this type of eating. Exultation is a condition of victory, and simplicity is the source of exultation. A complicated person cannot be joyful; a complicated person cannot live well; a complicated person cannot smile from his heart. When you see someone with a long face, you have to help him/her to be exulting and simple. Only in this way can we live together. This is the mark of victory, and this will bring the heavenly condition and heavenly atmosphere into our midst.
